It was a beautiful 65 degree sunny winter day. My date and I decided to go to an upscale restaurant for my birthday. We knew that they had a breathtaking view of intercoastal waterway located in West Central Florida.

Upon arrival at 2:15 PM in the afternoon we wanted to sit outside on the deck. We were surprised that the restaurant was not busy at all; there was only one other couple sitting at a table. The waitress came up and brought us to our table. However, before we were seated, my date asked if we could sit at the corner table because it was in the sun and it had a better view. We didn’t think this would be a problem since the deck was empty other than for the other couple. To our surprise the waitress said no. We asked why and she replied the table was reserved for five or more people; she then sat us at the table next to the table that we wanted.

The waitress came back to take our order and I asked her again if we could sit at the other table which was in the sun. She said that this was the rule and that she would have to get permission from the manager. She said it might take a while because the manager was busy with other guests. I said fine, we will wait. She asked if we would like to order something and I told her we would wait until we saw what the manager said before we ordered anything.

As we waited my date and I agreed that if we couldn’t sit at the table we wanted, we would just go someplace else. We thought why pay this kind of money if we can’t be comfortable. A few minutes went by and the waitress came back with two women who were introduced to us as the assistant manager and the product coordinator. Once again we asked why we couldn’t sit at the corner table next to us. The assistant manager replied that it was a six top table and that they are reserved for five or more people. I responded by asking her, “Where are they?”

The assistant manager replied, “Where are who?”

“The five or more people,” I replied.

“I DON’T KNOW.”

“Well are they coming or not; if the table is reserved then where are they?”

I could tell that she was getting angry with me. She said back to me in a harsh tone, “This is the rule and the table is for five or more people.”

I looked at my date in shock and said let’s not eat here and she agreed. On my way out I said loud enough for people to hear, “I wonder what the health department would feel about the poor treatment we received here today?”

The assistant manager yelled back, “We just had a health inspection and passed with flying colors.”

I yelled back, “Great, but I hope you go out of business and I’m sure you will being the way you treat people!”

As we were going to the car she yelled out across the parking lot, “GET THE FUCK OFF THIS PROPERTY!”

I yelled back, “VERY PROFESSIONAL. DO YOU TALK TO YOUR CHILDREN LIKE THAT?”

She yelled back, “A MATTER OF FACT, YES I DO, AND I SAID GET OFF THIS FUCKING PROPERTY!”

Meanwhile I noticed about eight of the Red Hat Society women witnessing all of this. My date was appalled; we could not believe this just happened. We were both in shock and were just amazed that we were treated liked this at such a high scale restaurant. To end the story, we went to a fun beach type restaurant where we were treated like royalty.

Eating Exotic Meats

The Olympic games in Beijing, China, have helped to introduce to the world some of the country’s cuisine including, by Western standards, unusual foods such as what’s described in the Daily Mail article, Scorpion kebab, anyone? It’s fast food Beijing style…. For another example, see the video below which depicts reporters from the Chicago Tribune and Los Angeles Times dining at a penis restaurant. They appear to enjoy their meal up until when they’re faced with an ethical dilemma involving one particular type of animal.

In some Asian restaurants, diners point to cages containing the animal that they’d like to consume for dinner. In an article published in the June 2008 edition of Men’s Journal called, “I’ll Have a Glass of Fresh Snake Blood, Please” (see pages 116-120), Lawrence Osborne describes visiting such establishments in China and eating an array of critters including seagull, dog, and donkey, ingesting bull semen, and drinking snake blood.

Unfortunately, some animals are endangered species that were smuggled into the country, many are kept in small, filthy cages, and some are eviscerated alive for purposes of presumed libido enhancement. Here’s a grim video that includes fish being boiled alive for a bizarre cooking contest: Chinese speed cooking live snake and live fish eating. This may never see the light of day, because the diner I work at is not just another diner from hell. It is a place of political anger, sexual harassment, drug abuse and perhaps even dare I say it………….direct from the owner statements of anger that border on direct incitement to commit assassination.

I had the misfortune to be hired 15 months ago in this business. Since then I have listened to the owner make statements and I quote “all americans are stupid and morons” they have committed genocide against all (read all cyprians/greeks/palestinians), have supplied armaments for the jews led by Henry Kissinger who is apparently trying to take over the world. the owner believes George Bush, Hilary Clinton and every american politician should be hung in front of a frothing crowd of who? I am not sure who he is ranting against, I believe he is angry because, as I said, he is hiring and employing a kitchen staff of at least 13 people who are undocumented, paying them “under the table”, they work 14 hour shifts 6 days a week, live in a house he bought for a song and he takes $300.00 a month off their cash money so they have a place to sleep before they once again walk to work to work the 13 or 14 hours. on his filthy line.

Servers daily text their drug dealers or have customers give them opiates/painkillers. I have been told directly by the owner that I am a moron because I am an American, never because I fucked up an order, insulted a customer, or in any way violated the unspoken agreement between employer and employee. I have in 15 months of employment watched 50% of our customer base disappear. I have watched 25% of the servers hired in that time buy drugs at work, talk or text on cell phones either placing bets, arranging drug buys, often delivered to the back service door of said diner, i have heard hispanic kitchen workers yell “quires comer” every time a waitress walks into the kitchen, and “quires comer” means “want eat?” and they ain’t asking is we want a sandwich. dinner salads are served from a salad bar every server digs through with bare hands…..no gloves, no tongs, i tell my customers the fruit cup or soup is a better choice prior to their dinner.

I have had enough of the insults to myself, my country, my gender and i don’t like serving toast to people that has been “buttered” with so called butter that has been dropped on the floor, toast that has been dropped on the floor, and hearing the owner say “its okay.” The food is okay, but I am a stupid moron American who has destroyed my own country and this is somehow connected to Henry Kissinger, The “Jews” and all the genocide I am personally responsible for after all I was born an American.

I know this post has zero chance of getting posted, but it is true. Do I believe the owner of this business is a threat to this country? No. I believe he is a shit businessman with no respect for the Americans, women, and a very biased view of the people he employs “off the books”, OSHA, the Department of Health, The Internal Revenue Service and let me stop now. I have had it with this shithole. I welcome any response, from the personal, to the official, that will close this asshole down. Send the mother fucker back to cypress where he can slaughter goats to his hearts content. i don’t want another finger pointed at myself telling me americans are morons and we deserve every suffering day we experience just so this particular cyprian asshole can serve food that is unclean, cooked by undocumented underpaid workers and finally when all is said and done……..he goes back to cypress and what happens to all of us? the morons, the undocumented. let the IRS, the Department of Health, and maybe Homeland Security investigate this lunatic.
