Thanks for the consideration of submitting your story!
Enter your dining hell story in the window below. If you prefer, you can also write your story in an external editor (e.g. Word, Notepad) and then paste it into the window, or email it to story@dinnersfromhell.com.
Please don’t include the restaurant’s name or address (unless it’s owned and operated by a hotel). However, you may creatively change the name of a restaurant if you’d like (e.g. “McDuds”). (Click here to see why.)
You’re welcome to include an email address – it won’t be published – in case we need to contact you, and to notify you when your story is posted (not required).
You may also include a name that you’d like to be signed as, as well as a title (titles are assigned if not provided; submitted titles are subject to change).

Be sure your submittal is in the form of a story (unless it’s a commentary) and is on topic.
Please review your story prior to submission for grammar, punctuation and clarity. Don’t write entire story in lower or upper case. Use paragraphs as needed for readability.
Submittals that are explicitly racist or demeaning to an ethnic group won’t be accepted.
It’s advised that you not disclose your personal information; it’s your call whether you do or not. Nothing that would violate the privacy of other parties may be posted. It will be assumed that names used in a story are fictitious.
For security reasons, attachments won’t be accepted.
You agree that your submitted story is true and is original material, and is not in violation of copyright or other intellectual property laws.
Your story must not have been previously published.
Your privacy and anonymity will be respected. Personal information and email addresses won’t be published without your consent.
We reserve the right to select which stories to publish, and to edit (e.g. spelling, grammar, punctuation, clarity) as needed (this is done as minimally as possible).
Your submittal signifies that you grant DinnersFromHell.com the royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive and unrestricted right and license to use, modify, display, reproduce, publish, and distribute submitted content as it chooses. See the Terms of Use page for additional conditions.
Your story is greatly appreciated. It will be published as soon as possible and usually in the order in which it’s been received. If a lot of stories have preceded yours, please understand that it will take a while for your story to be posted.
