Foodborne Illnesses

in Non-Stories

According to a report issued by the Centers for Disease Control, there has been little progress over the last several years in reducing the incidence of some foodborne illnesses in the U.S. To help protect yourself before dining at a restaurant, try to obtain health inspection results (which is not always a simple task). Many agencies publish their inspections online. Some websites, such as Allfoodbusiness.com and Spies Online, allow easy access to governmental sites.

Here’s a video showing a ballsy dude pretending to be a health inspector. His ruse should have been apparent when he started eating some of the food. One has to wonder if he ever got busted for impersonating an official!

This is why I'm glad I don't live or eat in the USA.
