My wife and I visit a neighborhood mom and pop restaurant about once a month. We’ve been going there for years. They specialize in pizza and Italian food. They make a wicked hot sauce for pasta; the best I’ve ever tasted. Their pizza is served in an oblong pan with a thin crispy crust and great sauce.
About 5 or 6 years ago the owner/cook came out to our table and thanked us for our patronage. We told her how much we liked her food. Since then she’s come out to say hello and ask us about the food and we exchange chit-chat. I’m not sure if we’ll be doing that any longer.
About two weeks ago as we were finishing dinner the owner/cook stopped by. As we were exchanging pleasantries she turned her head to the side, put her index finger over her left nostril and blew her nose onto the floor. She said enjoy your evening and walked back into the kitchen. My wife and I were astonished; we just looked at each other. My god if she would do that in a public dining room, what does she do in the kitchen?
As we walked out I said to my wife, “Well we won’t come back here for a while.” Somehow the pasta with hot sauce and the crisp crust pizza doesn’t sound so appetizing any more.

That's so gross, I would have cried.
That's disgusting!
Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww
If I was in your shoes, this would be one of those rare times that I would feel justified on leaving a poor review for the place on every site I could find. Obviously good hygiene is not a priority here. This kind of behavior wouldn't be acceptable in a home kitchen, nevermind in what should be a professional setting.
That's disgusting! I'd never go back. >:(
EWWWW!!!! That's absolutely awful and extremely terrible!!!! That was definitely UNCALLED FOR !!!!! I wish you would've SAID something to her abt that since it's an eating establishment !!!!!
I want to make sure that it is very important to see whether or not his is something that is going to improve in many way.
Please tell me this wasn't Ledo Pizza. Your comments on the sauce and on the oblong crust makes me think it might be.
